FISHING NEWS: July 7th, 2010 - Fishing is in full swing and we are planning our departure to Ocean City MD Charter fishing and tournaments. Currently the water in the Chesapeake Bay is 72 degrees and we are still catching fish up and down the channel in the 35 to 48 inch range through light tackle trolling. We anticipate another great season here in Deale and Ocean City MD. The fishing was fantastic last year, best in many. Average size of the rock caught were anywhere from 20 inch to 30 plus throughout the season, 40 inch fish not unusual. We are booking for Chesapeake Bay charter fishing trips for the bay out of Deale MD and our summer off shore tuna marlin charter season in Ocean City MD from Sunset Marina.

REFIT: We are in the middle of a repower on the Natural. We are re-powering our boat with Cummins QSC 540s. This will a great increase in speed and efficiency for us. The Natural will likely be out of service for only a few weeks. We up to be back in Sunset Marina in Ocean City MD Mid July.

The Natural is a classic 47-foot Custom boat designed by J. B Hargrave and built by the late master shipwright Mr. Bob Sherbert of Daytona Boat Works in FL. The Natural is newly re-powered by twin 540 HP Cummins QSC 8.3 diesels and USCG Licensed and insured for 6 passengers. We keep this vessel exceptionally clean and well serviced for your safety and comfort. The Natural has two heads, two AC Systems, full galley, and full entertainment system and comfortable salon. We provide everything but your lunch, and can provide catering on request. We use only the finest tournament quality tackle and equipment, we will provide a great fishing experience with courteous service. Deale MD has the closest and finest Washington metropolitan area charter boat fleet. Deale is 15 minutes south of Annapolis and about 10 Minutes north of Chesapeake Beach.

2 BOAT LOCATIONS: We run our charter boat out of Deale MD and Ocean City MD. In OC MD we run out from Sunset Marina www.ocsunsetmarina.com, and when chartering in the Chesapeake Bay we run out of the Happy Harbor in Deale MD. Our Chesapeake Bay fall Rockfish season is from October 1st though December 15th. Please call for available charter dates for both the Chesapeake Bay and Ocean City MD. We can also coordinate multiple charter boats to accommodate any size fishing party. We welcome everyone; family, business, private parties and personal cruises. The Happy Harbor Inn is available and happy to provide catering for your charter.
